As part of the paper submission process, will submitters be asked to choose primary and secondary subject areas from the list in this post ([Call for Contributions to NIME2025: entangled NIME](https://forum.nime.org/t/call-for-contributions-to-nime2025-entangled-nime/585)) starting with “Original contributions are encouraged in, but not limited to, the following topics:”? Asking because one of last year’s papers ([The Sophtar: a networkable feedback string instrument with embedded machine learning](https://www.nime.org/proc/nime2024_22/index.html)) mentions a similar process. Just wanted to make sure of this as early as possible. Thanks!

Thanks for your question, @arililoia . Yes, there will be primary and secondary subject areas that might not be limited to or slightly vary from the list in the call. We will have more information once the submission site opens.
