Abstract:
This workshop aims to surface future NIME leaders. We’ll introduce the practicalities of organising NIME and co-design future initiatives and conferences. We interpret “leaders” broadly: anyone ready to contribute beyond submissions and reviews—as a metareviewer, forum mod, track chair, future host, board member, or inventor of entirely new activities. We welcome enthusiastic people at all career stages and backgrounds. Facilitators include former chairs and board members. Walk in carefully—you’ll likely leave with a job and new friends!
