How do I find the NIME2025 category?

Just wondering when the NIME 2025 category will be open? The conference information email that was sent out recently said that this category would have useful information on the sessions etc, but I can’t see it here yet…

I’ve added your account to the NIME 2025 attendees group you should see the category now.

sorry you couldn’t see it @yann , I have been adding everybody on the basis of their registration email address.

If anybody has registered for the conference and can’t access: Welcome to NIME2025! then please reply here or DM or email @Albert

no problem, it’s certainly because I had a different address registered for my account here compared to what I used to register for the conference.

I previously had an account in this forum, and when I’ve tried to accept the invite anyway it won’t do anything because I already have an account. However, I still can’t access this post: https://forum.nime.org/t/welcome-to-nime2025/807

Not sure if this is an aliasing problem.

Will most communications for the conference happen over the forum? Or will there also be a Slack or Discord channel for this?

This Discourse forum, specifically NIME25 category, is the official communication channel for NIME’25.
