I’m excited to share the great news that the new NIME Board has been partially formed! Two positions have already been filled through the preferred choice of only one nominee each:
- Chair of Committees: Juan Avila (University of Nottingham)
- Continuity Officer: Andrew McPherson (Imperial College)
It’s great to have you on board Juan and Andrew!
As for the remaining roles of Proceedings Officer and 2x Members-at-large, we received multiple nominations. To fill these positions, we will hold an election. If you attended at least one of the last three NIME conferences (2021, 2022, 2023), either online or in-person, you are eligible to vote in the election. You should receive an email with your login information and the link to vote in the next day or so. If you haven’t received your email by Friday, April 5th, please reach out to me.
The election will close on 17 April at 5 PM GMT+1.
