NIME2023 - Some questions about travelling to Mexico City

Hello NIME community!

I’m planning to attend NIME in-person this year and in preparation for my trip to Mexico. I wondered do we have any recommended accomodation close to the main conference venue? Are there any attending NIMErs who have booked their accommodation already? It would also be great to meet others before the conference:)

This is my first time travelling to North America + by myself (Is there anyone travelling from Australia/Asia Pacific?). Any local travel tips would be appreciated too!

Hi Yichen,

I will be travelling from New Zealand! I’ll probably go via Los Angeles leaving on May 28th.

I think @juan_pablo has a few recommendations for hotels near the venue - do you mind sharing them here?
