Sorry, I’m racking my brain to remember what this is, but googling around is getting me nowhere, hoping someone here knows what I’m talking about.
Here’s my hazy recollection of disjointed facts, none of which are especially trustworthy:
- It’s an instrument developed recently (last 5–10yrs?), possibly as a PhD project.
- cello-like (but electric cello, thin body), the designer/player may be a south-american(?) woman?
- white octagonal(?) body with strings going most of the way around it.
- has electronics, might just be amplification but I think it was more than that
any ideas?
